The bay beaches of Amagansett, Napeague and Hither Hills stretch along the northern shore of the South Fork, facing Gardiner’s Bay.
13) Barnes Landing Beach
A quiet town beach on Gardiner’s Bay accessed from Barnes Landing Road. Good swimming and fishing. Nice stones and shells.
14) Albert’s Landing Beach
A small bay beach accessed from Albert’s Landing Road in Amagansett. Calm waters, good for families with children.
15) Abraham’s Landing Beach
Another quiet bay beach in the Amagansett area. Good for early morning walks and bird watching.
16) Promised Land and Lazy Point Beaches
Promised Land is a favorite spot for sea glass. The former dump sites of the area have left rich deposits of beach glass in all colors. Lazy Point is a scenic spit with views across Napeague Harbor.
17) Napeague Harbor Beaches
The beaches around Napeague Harbor offer calm protected waters. The area is rich in birdlife and is a popular kayaking destination.
18) Hither Hills Bay Beaches
The bay side of Hither Hills State Park. Less visited than the ocean side, with beautiful views of Gardiner’s Bay and Gardiner’s Island.
